Depending on how you sew the patches, they may fray a bit over time, or when put in the wash.

-If you want a frayed look, use a more spaced apart stitch pattern.

-If you want to prevent fraying, use a tight, close together stitch pattern.

• Black Fabric: 100% cotton, 10-12 oz canvas or 14 oz twill (depending on availability)

• Natural Fabric: 100% cotton, 10-12 oz canvas (depending on availability)

• Other fabrics: material and weight will vary. Other fabrics are either salvaged from worn out clothing, with the still good fabric cut out for the patches, or are thrifted.
